Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Vintners Inn on Saturday, May 11th, 2019. Situated on 92 acres in beautiful Russian River Valley Wine Country, Vintners Inn has been rated one of the best hotels in Sonoma and is home to famed John Ash & Co. Restaurant and Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery. Vintners offers a central location to relax, rejuvenate and explore Sonoma County’s spectacular vineyard, coastal and mountain destinations.
Just 55 miles north of San Francisco, you’ll find Santa Rosa: a small city with cool vibes and vibrant culture ready to be explored. The largest city in Sonoma County, Santa Rosa is the gateway to Wine Country while also in very close proximity to the SF Bay Area. Stroll through the charming downtown streets and enjoy shopping, art, wine and delicious California cuisine.
Located just north of San Francisco, Sonoma County encompasses the southwestern portion of California Wine Country, which also includes nearby Napa, Mendocino and Lake counties. With over 250 wineries, Sonoma is the largest producing region in Wine Country. The historic town of Sonoma is centered around its colonial-era plaza and includes Mission San Francisco Solano, the only California mission built by Mexico after its independence from Spain. With a variety of climates and environments there are plenty of outdoor activities. Jack London State Park contains the gravesite and cottage of the famous author, as well as many hiking trails.
Our wedding is an excellent opportunity to visit our home, San Francisco. Just a one-hour drive south on the 101, including a cross over the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco is an iconic city with something for everyone. The city’s plunging hills provide breathtaking views. With more restaurants per capita than any other U.S. city, including more Michelin-starred restaurants than New York City, food lovers will not be disappointed. Extending your stay before or after the wedding is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
